The questions worth asking

When an AI agent acts,
who is accountable?

What evidence should management provide before an agent is authorized to act autonomously? How should internal controls change? What decisions belong with the board?

Before you join

A few things to know.

Candor, confidentiality, and independence are fundamental to the Council.

Who is Alpha Council for?

Alpha Council is for leaders with real responsibility for how AI is governed, built, deployed, or used. We look at the work you do, the experience you bring, and how you will contribute - not title alone.

What does membership include?

Members take part in private Council sessions, specialized Councils when relevant, regional gatherings, an annual convening, independent briefings, and practical resources for the boardroom.

How does the Chatham House Rule apply?

You may use what you learn in a session, but you may not identify who said it or reveal their affiliation. Public work is aggregated or anonymized unless everyone involved agrees otherwise.

How are membership terms shared?

We share membership terms privately before an invited candidate decides whether to join.

Does membership affect an Alpha Eval?

No. Membership never changes how Alpha evaluates a company, reaches a rating, or applies its methodology. Alpha Council and Alpha Evals are governed separately.
