About

Richard Holbrook currently serves as Director and Chair Emeritus of Eastern Bankshares and Eastern Bank, having retired as Chair and CEO of Eastern Bank in 2016 after serving in those roles since 2007. He joined Eastern Bank in 1996 as CFO and EVP, later becoming President and COO, and has more than 40 years of banking experience. He is expected to retire from the Board on December 31, 2026 in accordance with the Company's director retirement policy.
